Helena Bicycle Club 2024 Ride Calendars
Tuesday and Thursday evening rides will start May 7. Tuesday evening rides will leave from the Reber Broadwater Cupola Park on Colonial Drive. Thursday evening rides will leave from the Four Georgians school back parking lot off McHugh Drive (behind Tiny's Gym). Both will leave at 6:00 pm, but that time may be adjusted depending on traffic
These will be 20 miles or more at a moderate pace. Routes will be announced in reminder emails but may be changed at the last minute depending on wind and road construction. As the summer goes on and people get busy with other things, we probably will cut back to once a week or maybe every other week. As the weather warms up, we may switch the Tuesday ride to the mornings.
We will have some shorter, casual rides, usually on Wednesday mornings. Some will start in Helena. Some will involve taking bikes somewhere else. Some will involve food at the end or in the middle. As specific rides are planned, they will be posted here and announced by email.
We will have our traditional longer group rides, including the York Burger Boogie the Boulder Ice Cream Ride on July 4, and a ride on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.
Show and Go Rides: Members who want to organize a ride or who are planning a ride and want some company can use the club email list to announce it. If you are planning far enough ahead, we can get it on the ride calendar.
