Rides this Week

Wednesday 9/18, 10:00 am, Clancy to Jefferson City and back. Meet in the parking lot behind the museum (old Clancy school). Notice the later start to let it warm up a little.

Saturday 9/21, Ride on the frontage road south from Montana City to end up back at the Hardware Cafe by noon for lunch. One group will leave from the Hardware Cafe at 9:45 and ride 23 rolling miles to Jefferson City and back.  Riders wanting a shorter ride or slower pace can turn around at Clancy or Alhambra. Or start and end somewhere along the route and drive to lunch.

Helena Bicycle Club 2024 Ride Calendar

Tuesday evening rides leave from the Reber Broadwater Cupola Park on Colonial Drive. Thursday evening rides leave from the Four Georgians school back parking lot off McHugh Drive (behind Tiny's Gym). Both will leave at 6:00 pm, but that time may be adjusted depending on traffic

These generally will be 15 to 20 miles at a moderate pace.  Routes will be announced in  reminder emails but may be changed at the last minute depending on wind and road construction.  As the summer goes on and people get busy with other things, we probably will cut back to once a week or maybe every other week.  As the weather warms up, we may switch the Tuesday ride to the mornings.

We will have some shorter, casual rides, usually on Wednesday mornings. Some will start in Helena. Some will involve taking bikes somewhere else. Some will involve food at the end or in the middle. As specific rides are planned, they will be posted here and announced by email.

We will have our traditional longer group rides, including the York Burger Boogie the Boulder Ice Cream Ride on July 4, and a ride on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.

Show and Go Rides: Members who want to organize a ride or who are planning a ride and want some company can use the club email list to announce it.
