Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes Ride

We have scheduled one of our club’s favorite rides, the Coeur d’Alene Trail Ride,  for Columbus Day Weekend.  We will do a 40 to 50-mile ride on Saturday, and a shorter ride on Sunday.

Here are the details:

Drive to Wallace Idaho on Friday, October 11.  Make reservations at the Wallace Inn.  Daily rates for that time are $120 for a single queen room; $130 for two queen beds. Phone number is 208-753-0981 or you can book on the website.

We will meet in the morning on Saturday.  The ride most likely will be from Wallace to Cataldo and back. This ride is 40 to 45 miles round trip, depending on whether you believe Google or the paper map. Details to be determined.

Saturday night we plan to have a group dinner at City Limits Pub and Grill.

Sunday, we will do a shorter ride, most likely from Wallace to Mullan, and leave (for those who want to leave) after the ride. This ride is about 15 miles round trip if you go all the way.
 

Wallace Inn has urged us to make reservations as soon as possible before the hotel gets filled.  If you are inclined to go, make a reservation very soon for Friday and Saturday night.  You can always cancel if you change your mind.

It is a great group ride with beautiful scenery and wildlife along the way.  Most of all, the camaraderie of your fellow cyclists!  Ride on!
