York Burger Boogie

The York Burger Boogie is our annual spring ride.  For 2024, it is scheduled for May 18.

We start at 9:00 at the Reber Broadwater Cupola Park on Colonial Drive, ride to Montana City, turn left and take Highway 518 to East Helena. Then we go through East Helena and continue on Lake Helena Drive to York Road, and then to York.  Lunch is at the York Bar, and then we head back to Helena.  Total distance is about 48 miles.  The route is all on pavement and is mostly flat to rolling.  There is one challenging hill at the Devil's Elbow overlook, but it is possible to avoid it by taking the path through the campground. Riders wanting to go a shorter distance can arrange with the ride leader to meet up in Montana City, Lakeside or another point along the route.
